The programming system is based on the IEC 61131-3 standard and includes all the EC standard features. It consists of a single PLC core in the environment of various IEC programming languages, providing not only the textual languages ST and L, but also the graphical languages LD, FBD and SFC. Each editor provides editing wizards that allow quick and easy insertion of keywords, statements, operators, functions and blocks. The edit wizard can also be used to specify data types. Specific soft parts are adapted to different PLCS to complete the independent core of a particular PLC. MULTIPROG is in considerable use in the PLC industry, thanks to the hard and persistent promotion of the application by Europe Far East Limited, an agent of KW Company based in Tokyo.
In the past five years, the major changes in PLCS have increasingly focused on the “small” aspect: the application of micro and na PLC continues to expand, and now, micro and small controllers are generally the same size, but can achieve the same function as the medium-sized controller 10 years ago.
