Product Description
In addition, the 8502-BI-DP module also supports Profibus Extended, which allows output data writing and diagnostic status information. It also supports a number of special features that have been implemented to allow for high integrity system operation and field maintenance. The module collects the data of the I/O module and provides it according to the requirements of the host. It is a slave device of the Profibus host.
The module is designed for high-speed data acquisition with LAN operation speeds up to 6 Mbaud, allowing the host to quickly respond to changing conditions during the control process. It also supports HART procedures and state variables via Profibus DP, providing extended diagnostics of module and channel state.
