The AEDR-8712-102 is a 3-channel high-resolution reflection incremental encoder with a digital output and motion control using reflection technology. With high resolution (318LPI) with built-in interpolation, great flexibility and versatility across the resolution range. The compact size, 3.3V option, enables the device to be used in micro applications and portable devices, saving space and power consumption. Two-channel (AB) orthogonal digital output is available, as well as a third-channel indexed digital output. Compatible with TTL, the output of the AEDR-8710-102 encoder can be directly connected to most signal processing circuits. As a result, encoders offer great design flexibility and are easy to connect to existing systems.
