Description
AX7670-60 Plasma power module
Plasma power module is a device that uses electric field, magnetic field and other energy forms to
activate gas, transform it into plasma state, and control and utilize it. Its working principle is based
on the plasma discharge phenomenon in the plasma generator. Plasma is a collection of charged
particles formed by ionization of atoms or molecules in a gas, which has high conductivity and electrical conductivity.
Plasma power modules usually contain the following key components:
Power module: provides stable low-voltage power supply, usually using transformers and rectifier
circuits. It inputs a low-voltage power supply into the discharge device to stimulate the gas to ionize.
Discharge device: through high-frequency electric field, arc, RF electromagnetic field and other
ways to ionize the gas and produce plasma.
Plasma power modules have a wide range of applications in many fields, such as plasma cutting and
surface treatment in industrial manufacturing, plasma disinfection and diagnosis in medical science, and plasma propulsion in aerospace.
The working principle of the plasma power module is mainly based on the plasma discharge
phenomenon in the plasma generator. Here’s a brief description of how it works:
Power module: First, the power module provides a stable low-voltage power supply, which is
usually achieved through transformers and rectification circuits. This stable, low-voltage power
supply is the basis for the subsequent generation of plasma.
Discharge device: Next, the power module inputs low-voltage power into the discharge device.
The discharge device ionizes the atoms or molecules in the gas by means of high-frequency
electric field, electric arc, radio frequency electromagnetic field, etc. This process is the production
of plasma, and the ionized gas forms a plasma composed of charged particles (including electrons,
ions, and unionized neutral particles).
Stabilizer: The plasma generated by the discharge device may be unstable, so it needs to be
adjusted by the stabilizer to ensure that the output plasma has stable electrical characteristics and physical state.
Output circuit: Finally, the stabilized plasma is connected to the desired device or experiment
through the output circuit, providing it with the required high voltage energy.
In general, the working principle of the plasma power module is to provide a stable low-voltage
power supply through the power module, and then use the discharge device to ionize the gas to
form a plasma, and finally through the stabilizer and the output circuit to output the stable plasma
to the required application. This process involves the activation and control of gas in the form of
electric and magnetic fields, so as to achieve the generation and utilization of plasma.
