Agilent/HP E1460A High density relay multiplexer is a C size, single slot, register-based VXI module. This 64 channel multiplexer uses a latched-armature switch to provide a highly configurable high point switching topology. The switching topology consists of 64 two-wire, 32 three-wire, 32 four-wire, or 128 single-ended latching relay channels.

The E1460A “line mode” can be configured as a 128 x 1 line, 64 x 2 line, 32 x 3 line, or 32 x 4 line multiplexer using the SCPI command or the status bit jumper on the terminal card.

Applications for E1460A include harness and cable testing, semiconductor testing, and printed circuit board testing.

E1460A shares the same switch card with E1468A and E1469A. The unique terminals of each product determine the matrix configuration. Therefore, you can change the matrix topology simply by inserting various wiring terminals. Terminals can be purchased separately. All E1460/68/69A matrix modules offer similar density with different row/column sizes and the same performance specifications.
