The AC 800M HI controller, PM857, PM863, and PM867 provide certified TUV control environments for process safety applications in integrated and standalone environments. The AC 800M HI controller combines with a variety of coprocessors, SM812s, to diagnose and monitor application execution and input/output scanning. HI controllers offer flexibility in network design because they can be used for integrated but independent security operations, or for fully integrated applications where security and business-critical process controls are combined in one controller without sacrificing security integrity. For embedded security and control applications, all functions/types in the standard library available in the SIL classification application are labeled SIL2, SIL2 restricted, SIL3, or SIL3 restricted. Embedded security measures prevent accidental degradation of secure applications. SIL selection activates relevant restrictions and limitations, such as SIL marking elements used only in SIL applications. In SIL grade applications, you can choose between three IEC 61131-3 languages, functional block diagrams, structured text, and sequential functional diagrams (SIL1-2 only). For non-SIL applications, all five IEC 61131-3 languages are available.
