The MVI56E-GSC/GSCXT Generic ASCII Serial Enhanced Communication Module allows Rockwell Automation ControlLogix Programmable Automation Controllers (PACs) to easily interface with serial devices using neutral ASCII string or byte value serial communication protocols. Enhancements to the MVI56E-GSC include local and remote diagnostics via the module’s Ethernet port, CIPconnect technology for bridging Rockwell Automation ControlNet and EtherNet/IP networks, and a board that includes status information, module documentation, and sample program files Load the web server.
