Typical communication faults are as follows: All irregular communications on the OVATION side become bad points and cannot heal themselves. Only by restarting a pair of controllers can the fault be rectified. At first, we thought that OVATION controller CPU overload was caused by too many communication points and too dense sampling frequency. We have tried to reduce the number of communication points, reduce the refresh frequency, refresh the SDB database of the CRM operation station on the GE side, and even allocate the communication task to two different controller groups, but the fault still exists. Through repeated tests, it is found that in addition to the communication failure caused by physical link interruption (such as removing the network cable), another situation can also cause the VATION controller to lose response to communication: when the CRM operation station on the side of MARKⅥ carries out REBUILD operation. According to the available GE data, the REBUILD of each operation station and engineer station is actually the HMB compilation process, that is, the engineer changes the M6B configuration file of MARK Ⅵ controller, such as adding EGD points, and HMB files are generated after the configuration software is compiled. An independent HMB is allocated for each HMI. The HMB file is compiled by the REBUILD operation, and the configuration information is transmitted to CIMPLICITY and turbin control interface (TCI) of each HMI station. This allows the additional EGD points to be found in the CIMPLICITY process screen. Therefore, when the M6B file of the MARKⅥ controller is modified, the REBUILD operation must be performed at each HMI station.
